The IDF memorial museum is conceived as a structure emerging out of the mountain, as an integral part of the landscape. Rather than imposing itself on top of the mountain the building crosses through it , revealing itself on both east and west sides. The arrangement of the programs along a linear path and the movement through the building, become part of a longer landscaped promenade with views to Jerusalem and its surrounding areas.
